Strength is an ingredient of all great champions but also it is as much needed by the average human being, be it house wives, the office worker, the tech geek and everyone in particular who want to live a healthy and successful life in general.
Running is a great sport, but by itself you would just succeed to run yourself OUT by only doing running! You are more likely to get injured, loose mobility and agility. You must maintain general body strength and core strength in particular if you want to improve your sport or stay in good shape to carry out day to day functional movement.
Below is a tutorial demonstrating one of the most basic and important strength exercise. The Deadlift, a great exercise to strengthen your core.
